Can someone convert a file for me?

Steve,

I had a .prt that needed some holes covered up for machining. I did it in MC since I'm a UG noob. It looks fine in MC, but there are various faces missing and some long extruded cylinders sticking out of it when I exported iges, parasolid, or step. I wanted to see what it looks like if it gets converted back to .prt, so I can then bring it in to program in WorkNC. Are there enough translations for you there? biggrin.gif

Neil, NX3 please.

Thad, unfortunatly I no longer have NX3 on my machine (I can give you a NX4 or NX5 file). I did bring it into NX4 after converting it into IGS. I put a JPG (252.jpg)of what I get in NX4 in the same folder on the FTP. This file is very dirty, lots of mismatched trims. Try spending some time with the simplify and "Direct Modeling" tools in UG, they are very powerful when you have a model without a history tree. The simplify function should be able to patch those holes without any problem.

Neil.
