Problem transferring NC code to Haas

When I send the Mastercam NC code to the haas mill, the haas mill says MACRO LOCKED on the screen . I checked the settings and they look right. I'm in CAL and Haas is closed . Anyone had this problem before??thanks.

are you initiating G65?

i figure it out 9 is reserved for Macros. Don't use a 9 first in your pgm number

you can but you have to unlock 9xxx in settings

Setting 23 opens the the 8000-9000 range.

That goes for pretty much all Fanuc, Yasnac, and clone controls; many have protected 8000 number as well.

 

I STRONGLY suggest not unlocking the 9000 numbers unless you need to load a macro into the machine; and then be sure to re-lock them
