fatal application exit error

This application error is happening more often,

unhandled exception occurred mastercam execution halted.

it is worse when trying to save program

 

any help is appreciated

What version are you running?

go to Files in System Config and make sure

"include bitmap in file when saving"

is unchecked.

This option can cause a lot of grief.

Go to System Config/Files

see where your TEMP folder is.

Close Mastercam and delete everything

in that folder.

If you are uncomfortable doing that,

make a new TEMP folder and PATH to it.

Mastercam writes solids data to that folder

and clears it out when you close.

Crashes leave junk behind that may cause conflicts

when you open a new session.

This has helped a couple of guys who were having

frequent crashes.

The TEMP folder should be empty when Mastecam

is not open.

If you don't have SOLIDs, this does not apply

I was having SERIOUS issues with crashes. Dumped the temp files and all has been well

This one is killing me today! I can program for 50 hours sometimes and this will never happen. Today it happening every 5-10 minutes even after trying the stuff above. It will also leave the Temp directory full of stuff. At this time( after crash), it has 50 files in it. It is certainly file specific. Charlie, Jim how is it going for you?
