3D x form translate question

first draw some X & Y origin lines at destination point for new wcs. draw X & Y origin lines where the part is currently located. pick geo, use point to point and then select origins as follows. pick origin, midpoint of axis line and midpoint of other axis line. you will do this for both origins to describe where you're at and where you're going. can't remember, but pretty sure it will prompt you for X first. Make sure check box for "preview" is indicated to see before accepting.

cheers

Is there a way to select say the center of the arc as your from point and the origin as the to point. This seemed pretty simple to do in 8. X form translate from center to origin. Are you saying that now i have to create geometry in order to accomplish this task ?

in you dialog box select the from /to +1 icon and then in your ribbon bar select the arc center icon

Forget the ribbon bar, just snap to the center of the arc.
