Does anyone use a 203 Turbo system chip conveyor/coolant tank

Does anyone use the 203 Turbo system with their machines. We bought 2 new Turbo systems for our new machines. We machine gray cast iron. These machines run 24 hours a day. The bottom of the coolant tank fills up with little particles that pass through the filter and settle on the bottom. Each month we have to drain the coolant tank to clean it. Does anyone know of a better way to clean the tanks banghead.gif

A few shops I know of use a filter paper for their

grinders. When its dirty just throw it out

and replace it. Its in a lrage roll, just cut what

you need. I would think McMaster Carr should have it.

We have magnetic chip conveyors in our machines that run cast iron consistently and they work beautifully. They're 2-3X more money than a lift-up link-belt style but the difference is remarkable. On our gear shapers we combine the magnetic conveyors with bag filters on the pressure side of the pump [the chips are so fine that it doesn't hurt the pumps] and that really keeps the fluids clean.
