Error Report Dialog When Opening X3

What's causing it?

Did you do a migrate install? If so something you were using in X2 is not in X3 or something in X3 is in a different place than X2 if you click on the center button on this dialog box it will go away the next time you start Mastercam X3.

No, on the migrate, just an overwrite.

I get this same msg. on x3 startup,if I just purge the unresolved functions, I'm worried I'm getting rid of something I need. Is this an unfounded fear? I dont understand what the purge function is purging or what command it is not finding. This is my first post so, be gentle

The error is telling you that there is an icon in

your toolbar congig that has no supporting files.

What usually causes this is migrating an older versions settings into a new version.

It can also be caused by copying your toolbar file from one version to another.

If you have non CNC chooks installed in the old version, they are not present in your new install

The toolbar can't find them and gives you that warning. Using the purge button in the correct solution and won't hurt anything

I had that problem too. I followed Johns ‘X4 Post update - How’ but still had the problem. I fixed it by going to the Start/Exit in Configuration and redirect the mtb file to the config in X4 instead of X3
