Snapshot help

hi everybody

I am trying to put snapshot of pop up menu which is on the screen and I am trying to post in Word 2007 document but all the time Iam getting the picture of cad drawing which is on the screen.

If any body can tell what is the trick to put the menu image in word document or in e-mail document instead of bringing first in the paint.

Help will be appreciated.

There is a great piece of software called "Snag-it" that works well for capturing anything on your screen. Not sure on price, but I got it bundled with Camtasia and it was well worth it...

Use print screen. Go to paint. Select paste. Crop the image. Your done.

PRNTSCRN gets the whole screen, CTRL/ALT PRNTSCRN

gets the small window only.

How much window gonna be?

There is no control of size of image.

I'm sure you can adjust the size in Word.

 

I can in Word 2000.

I prefer to use a software to capture what I want. 5-clicks, Snag-it, or this one It's Free

 

That way you can control the size by how it appears on your screen.

Thanks Colin and Mls for recomending Snag-it program. I loaded this program in my office computer and works good. I have Gadwin Print screen program in my home computer and that tool also works good.
