I am not sure what you are talking about in V9 we have cool zooming to.

When you change views in SW, it actually animates the move to the new position.

 

It is cool when working on assemblies, because it helps you orient yourself to the model.

 

If we could do it, it would be cool, but I won't spend much development time on it as it is not as valuable for single parts (vs. assemblies).

 

But, it IS cool.

ProE does the same thing. I love it. It helps alot with busy 3D models.

We have an amazing software (mastercam),but i still think that cnc should add some cool things to it.it looks too technical.

that's what happend when we sit all day infront of Mastercam.we start to look for cool things

it could be great if Mastercam could talk.

Concerning the SolidWorks view change that dynamically rotates from the existing to new position, SDRC had it first, SW stole it, and your right, it looks really cool.

Concerning the SolidWorks view change that dynamically rotates from the existing to new position. I don't think it was SDRC that had it first I saw it about 10 years ago on Solutions 3000 or Think3. JM2C
