Moving along Z axis 5 axis cut

I am trying to take a .250 ball mill and work out a corner in a wall. i would like to roll the head over in a and b axis and cut this along the z axis like a contour. I'm not sure what tool path would do this for me. I have tried a couple of things but, can't get it to work. Simple movement but haven't done this before. If I can do this I don't have to worry about a tool holder rubbing on the wall. Can anybody give me a tip?

Thanks

Curve5ax has the lead/lag you want. The fillet CL would be the toolpath of the ball center. But CURVE5AX needs a surface to reference for the initial surface normals, to which it adds the lead/lag. Since the fillet surface is the same distance from the CL, you can't use that. Make a ruled surface between the rails of the fillet surface, and use that as your reference surface for CURVE5AX.

If you don't want to machine in 5-axis

try doing as 3+2

Move your G-view to a view that you wish to machine in, and name it, also give it a "work offset #", (same # as the WCS if you have TPC)

---Don't forget to set the origin of your "new view" to the same point of origin as your WCS --

Keep the WSC as your set-up, and T/C plane as your "new view", and use the strategy you wish

It should output a rotation to your view before doing any machining 2D, 3D or surface toolpaths and not output any angle moves

Your post may not this method if doing 5-axis paths.
