I also heard that there is a c-hook that allows chaining like when you want to select wireframe when transforming?

It's called AI Utility. Search the forum for the latest version. After installing, go to Settings-Customize and locate AI Utility from the dropdown. You'll see a chain manager icon that you can add to a toolbar.

I haven't installed X3 yet, so I can't help you with the other part.

We ahve X3 MU1 on three machines and have had no trouble.

I would not use migration though.

If you already have X3 installed, just run the MU1

install package.

If you are installing X3 for the first time, do a fresh install then run the MU1 upgrade.

I have V9 X2MR2 and X3MU1 installed with no

conflicts between them, though I almost nevr use

V9 or X2MR2.

Migration has cause a lot of issues and I would

avoid it. It is a pain having to set up X3 maually, but nothing compared tot he trouble of a

corrupted install.

A lot of guys drag thier X2 config files and drop them into the new X3 install. Don't do it..

All the file paths lead back to the X2 folders

and can cause a world of trouble.

I open my old config and a fresh X3 config

side by side in Cimco Edit file compare

and syncronise them.
