Drafting Notes

Hello,

Anyone having issuses while creating drafting notes? On one of my boxes it froze up. When I re-booted X4 would not load. I had to re-install it. It just locked up on a different box.

I haven't tried any drafting notes, but what you're saying makes me not want to but I'll give it a go anyway.

make sure "disable front buffer"

I just started getting a problem today. The text editing window turns white and I get a message "a required resource was" and I have to escape out of it. I did a Mcam install repair and it went away for a little bit but then came back.

I've had that alalrm a couple of times..

The title bar of the alarm says Verisurf.

I just exited out and restarted Mastercam..

so far so good..

I am running a Nvdia Quadro FX 540. I checked the box you suggested. I will try it out. Thanks gcode.

I tried checking the disable front buffers, but I had the same problem today. Do you have any more suggestions?

I think the disable front buffer setting works more for backplotting and other related video problems. I thought the problem I was having was because my file is about 125 meg. When I worked with smaller files yesterday I didn't have the problem. Today I'm working with the big file again but I'm not having the problem so I don't know what was going on yesterday. So far it seems to be something that was temporary. I hope.
