X4 regen problems

We do alot of importing files X_T from solidworks. I import into a template .MCX with levels described already and toolpaths. So all we have to do is re-attahc the new geo to the toolpaths. WHen I try to do so with even only one op checked. MC wants to regen all ops that aren't checked also. Yes, I am pressing the icon with the green arrow not the one with a red X. ANyone out there have similar problems?

I've done this reassociate toolpaths to new geo in X4 and have not seen this problem. Are you saying that you cannot simply regen 1 operation by itself?

Sounds like you might need to do a clean install of X4. I had some weird behavior (crashing) when updating folders (mach. def/control def, tool libraries etc...) until I uninstalled and reinstalled X4.

Unless you get someone else with this same problem and a solution that is what I'd recommend.

I have this problem, but not all the time. I tell it to regen just one operation and MCX4 will regen all of the dirty ones. If I restart MCX4 it goes back to normal - for a while. I haven't been able to figure just when it starts going haywire, but it definitely does. I was thinking it had to do with the multi-threading, but wasn't sure.
