Depends COMPLETELY on your mindset. If you go into it hating it, you will. If you go into it with excitement, you will be able to overcome the challenges that certainly lay ahead.

The stuff you're going to find the most frustrating is.......well, just about everything. Everything is still there, it's just in different places now. Just hang in there though. Every ounce of frustration now, will amount to a pound of reward later.

 

I fired up 9.1 the other day on an old computer to find some old tool parameters, and it felt like BobCAD.

If you have used software like Solidworks the transition will be easier. If not I recommend some kind of formal training or tutoring. "Screaming Teacher" is very good. I made the transition without and spent a month or more of very frustrated head banging. banghead.gif

I could have continued with 9.1 but knew I needed to keep up to speed with the latest technology and now Im glad I did. Good Luck! cheers.gif
