Mastercam X4 MU1 is released

If they wouldn't release a product full of bugs they wouldn't have to worry about it at all!

 

I've said it several times, to take their time and do thorough testing. Then fix the problems BEFORE releasing it.

If CNC Softwarre (or any CAD/CAM company) operated this way, we would see new releases maybe every 5 years or so.

I could care less how long new releases 'MAY' take when 'a bug' two weeks ago cost me and my company $

 

I want the bugs fixed for free.

Amen to that. We should pay for new features but not fixes for features that don't work correctly. A maintenance update is a release that fixes bugs so it should be free to customers that bought X4 but don't have maintenance. The next release with new features and corresponding bugs will be X5, and one should be on maintenance to get that version.
