Has X4 been test in Windows7 64bit ??

Im looking to get a new box and was wondering if X4 has been tested in Windows 7 64bit.

 

Any problems?

I don't think CNC Software has said anything

one way or another, but I havn't checked

the Mastercam website in a couple of weeks.

I've been running Win 7 for several

months. I had some graphics issues with X4

but turning off Windows eyecandy fixed

it. Still having minor issues

with SW2009 graphics. Haven't installed

SW2010 in my Win7 box yet.

32 bit is working good. I am not sure about 64 bit though.

The system I am looking at is very similar to yours.

I have run it in Win 7 Ultimate x64 and the only problem I've had is it will hang a while when you close it. I also am using it in a version of Win 7 that was release candate 1 which is not quite the same as the retail version.

Randle - Another satisified 7 user.. I've been using the Betas for 3-6 months now (I'm still using RC1) 64Bit, no problems with X4 MU1, X3 or CAD programs like Inventor.

 

I'll be going full release 7 when the RC expires... I haven't had any problems, and I can't be arsed to do a OS reinstall when there's no reason.
