Importing parasolid

When I import a parasolid file from Unigraphics, and I check the scereen statistics it only shows the lines arcs and splines. I checked the import option button and solid and edge curves is checked. It does not show the solid until I save the file and re-open it. Any ideas why would be appreciated.

There are a couple of known solid import bugs that that are being worked on.

One workaround that may eliminate the ned to restart..

After importing you parasolid, try the

"regenerate display list" command..

It's icon looks like a paintbrush on an orange background.

I had a talk with CNC software about this issue and the solution Gcode gave you was the answer I got. Theyr have the same issue with several converters and they know about it and are working on it.

 

You can also use file -> Merge and it works.
