Hasp for home

I have the hasp at home now I just need the work to go with it.

I use vpn when I work at home. Hasp tho has to be a nethasp at work.

Setup the server last night, no go. Came in this morning, red light on nethasp was off. Unplugged, plugged back in - nothing. Tried a different USB port - nothing. Uninstalled server software, nethasp works again.

Like I said, it's a little tricky to setup.

I believe IT sent me an OpenVPN.exe that allows me to VPN Tunnel to the Server, then configured the Server to forward my "Work" PC's 33000 Port to my "Laptop" IP.

I am working with Logmein. Have it running on the computer at work (that has the nethasp server running). Hooked up the logmein software at home. Was able to connect and see the files on my computer. But the nhasp.exe file cannot find the nethasp on my computer through the VPN.

 

For those using Logmein, any suggestions as to how to get this to work? Or do you only use logmein for transferring files back and forth>

I didn't see you were using a nethasp,nevermind. Not sure how it works with that setup.

Got Logmein Himachi to work for my license server. I can now check out a license from the nethasp server on my computer at home. Free version is for non-commercial use. Since I got it to work gonna talk to him about signing up for the service so I can program from home.

The Hamachi software is working very well. I am getting full bandwidth (2Mbps) uploading and downloading files. No problems with the nethasp. And as an added bonus I can listen to my music from my home computer on my work computer.
