MasterCam Video Problems

Hi all,

Thought I was going get ahead on work by loading M-Cam on my home computer, and working over the weekend.

I pull over my first file from Solidworks.

Every thing looks great, I thought I was well on my way to a productive weekend.

Then boom I try the mouse wheel to zoom in for my first tool path. I tried forwards & I tried backward then a funny combination of both all it does is Un-Zoom Un-Zoom & more Un-Zoom.

I have tried everything I can think of to possibly fix this issue with no resolve.

Has anyone experienced this problem, or have any ideas on possible fixes

I have tried diver update, Disabled hardware acceleration, Disabled Front buffer, switched from OpenGL to GDI in the software, and a combination of the above mix. I have also tried to Decrease hardware Acc. on the computer settings.

Here what Im running

OS - Win7 - 64

AMD Athalon X2 3.2 Ghz

Dual G-Force 7950 GT Vid cards ( SLI )

Mastercam X4 MU 3

Lathe, Mill3, 5X, Solids

Solidworks 2010

Thanks again for any help

you don't mention the type of mouse you are using.

I'm running Win 7 x64 and a Logitech G5 mouse..

I have my scroll wheel set to vertical scrolling

and it is working properly in Mastercam.

It looks like you're running a pretty hot gaming

rig there.. maybe one of your game profiles

is overriding "vertical scrolling" on your mouse settings???

The mouse is a MS Wireless Laser 6000

I have deleted all the mouse profiles & set the default mouse profile to vertical scroll for the scroll wheel -- No Luck

I have also tried to set a custom profile for MC.

No luck for the scroll wheel, but you gave me a idea for a temp work around that will save me from chasing around the screen so much. I will hot-key one of the mouse buttons to F1 this will eliminate some of the extra mouse work.

Man I remember back in the day when chasing around the screen and hot-keys were the only way

Now I'm spoiled with all the time savers and habits are hard to break in a day.

My computer just might be telling me something.

LESS WORK MORE GAMES!!!!!!!

LOL

Thanks once again

Ill be calling Shopware on Monday to see if they have seen this problem
