2d dynamic mill entry

I just set up a file to use for a bug report..

Drew a rectange..

applied a 2D high speed area mill

Clearance 1" absolute

"use cleanance only at..." is checked

Retract .25" absolute

Feed Plane .1" incremental

Top of stock 0 absolute

Depth -1." absolute

Depth of cut .25"

"keep tool down" is off

 

on the Transition page

Enter helix is checked

Z Clearnce is set to 0

 

I can't send in a bug report though..

If there is no bug number.. qc may not be aware

of the issue.. If they don't know about it, it won't get fixed.

 

a couple of recent bug reports I've made returned the reply "works correctly in X5 beta".. wink.gif

Once again, I struggle to understand why the users are not granted access to a list of reported and fixed issues.

 

It's one thing to have these bugs, but it another to be kept in the dark to there status.

I reported this to make sure they know about it.

If this is a big production job worthy of a workaround, copy your toolpath over the required number of times and adjust your "top of stock" and "depth" settings to give you the required passes.. yes its a pain but it beats cutting air

good idea. only have 75 pcs so im not going to bother.
