Hi

I am new on high speed tool path.

I saw and practice the 2D HST and i think it work very good but on 3D HST strategy i think 3D HST has very unnecessary motion on around the work piece, like below picture: for roughing

for finishing:

but in 3D surface strategy doesn't have unnecessary motion.

What do you think about unnecessary motion? Is that usual and necessary for 3D HST strategy?

How can i control unnecessary motion and toll path on 3D HST?

Thank you for your attention
