Just did as I described. Went from 116 to 34MB.

Did you save as binary when you exported?

I just did another 66% and made it 13MB

I put it on the FTP as Peon2.zip

Still looks pretty clean.

No offense taken. I've been looking for a lower cost solution for handling STL files. Magics is good, but costly. Especially considering I only use a fraction of the tools available in it. The only reason I could even get Magics is that it is on the "approved" software list because we use it for FDM machines.

Zoober, found my mistake. I saved it as an ASCII file rather than Binary. I was able to duplicate your result. THANK YOU!!!!

It would be nice if CNC would package the Magics or VRMesh with their mill packages. I am impressed! Just reduced a 162mb .stl down to 5mb and the quality is excellent!

I'm glad to hear someone else has the tools disappearing with multiple machine groups. Happened to me the other day & had me confused. Thought I did something wrong since I started the program a few days before & was picking up where I left off. Some of my tools were gone in my ops. Hope it gets fixed.
