I am having issues with Mastercam, don't know what is causing it. when in Mastercam and I am trying to rotate or move a part it temporarily freezes, it is very annoying and recently upgraded the video card driver, I have a (NVIDIA quadro FX 3400/4400) The computer has two 3.2ghz XEON processors with 3GB of RAM, Does anyone know what settings I need to be on so this won't happen? banghead.gifbanghead.gif

Thanks,

In Mastercam System Config

Screen

Open Gl checked

disable front buffer off

In Windows

set video performance to max performance

a side note

In Mastercam Shade Settings..

If you have Shading on and

"Outline shaded edges" checked..

large models will bring even powerful computers to a standstill

If this is a Dell.. make sure the IT guy

installed Nvidia drivers not Dell..

I've had nothing but trouble with Dell video

drivers.

Have your IT guy unseat the video card and reseat it.

Uninstall the drivers and reininstall with

A/V software shut down.. If you're still

having trouble, it might be time for a new card.

I swapped my FX-3450 out for an FX-1800 a couple

of months ago..I'll sell you my old card cheap. biggrin.gif
