What do you have for a video card?

Do you have the latest driver for your card?

Are you posting out with a post that has been modified?

Try posting out with any one of the standard posts and see if it still happens.

I have gotten this error when I've modified a post incorrectly such as leaving a bracket open in a boolean operation.

The more info you can give the better.

Which version of XP? If your are running Windows XP HOME edition that could be the problem

There is no difference in the "HOME" or "PRO" versions where Mastercam is concerned. The differences are mostly in the networking capabilities. I have run it on both with no problems, fwiw.

RandyN, I've heard that some people have had issues with XP home and the problems went away with XP Pro. There are many variables, ie. a clean install of the XP vs an upgrade, new video drivers, etc...

I have had more than my share of problems with xp home.

But this problem would be the same in pro.

go to

Start

All programs

Accessories

...compatability wizard

blah, blah, blah,

next

choose from list

Masercam9

set xp to emulate win2k when running *.exe (mill9.exe)file.

see if this helps.

kj,

I just tried some surface tpaths in v9sp1 xp.

Everything seemed ok.

Is it a possible post problem?

Try different post.

May be a problem with mp install for sp1.

Installed off a CD or off update patch from web?

fire me off an email. I'll send post files.
