Dyna 2400c Bench Top

Has anyone successfully transferred programs to and from a Dyna 2400c tabletop cnc?

I have been trying to via Cimco without success. I would like to use this CNC for basic demo purposes in a beginning MasterCam Class that I am teaching.

I have tried a variety of settings and cable configs. Getting frustrated.

MasterCam has a Post for it. I assume that someone somewhere has used it.

Sorry I cant answer your specific question, but maybe I can at least point you in the right direction. Try this website http://www.cimco-integration.com/ they have a support page in there somewhere. We have two customer using this Dyna 2400C machine. I don't think Cimco Edit can link to this machine. The machine have a limited memory. It only can read upto 900 blocks. The machine is linked to a PC with a DOS communication software that will break the program to smaller file if the file is more than 900 block. And from there it will send those files continuely to the machine. I can't remember what is the software name, it came together with the machine. Hope this is helpful to you.
