a floating tool bar that is customizable or the ability to wrap the tool bars around the screen. i know this has been asked before, but no harm in asking again.

Or even fly out icons that you can simply drag & drop to customize. & i got to ask this Do's anybody really use the tear away style icon tool bars on the top of the screen ? Were you have to click the forward & reverse arrows to page flip the icons around.

No! I was so used to older versions of M/C that when the first versions, with icons, came out I never used them but stuck with the quick keys.

I use them only for changing construction planes. I prefer to use Hotkeys. They are much faster than hunting for buttons. If the buttons were like AutoCAD's floating Toolbars, I'd use them more for creation, modify, and X-Form functions.

While the shortcut keys are nice, adding more commands to the right click menu would give it more "hands-free" functions. I for one would like to see Blank and Clear Colors added for starters. I would even like to be able to right-click to a menu, like "create".

I use the toolbar at the top all the time. Very nice implementation. However, I have customized it so everything I use is on the first layer.

I have another suggestion

when create/fillet/radius in icon (rod has multiple choice)

that would be well if there was an icon for some radius that one uses the most often

the same thing that in autocad 2000

I really think Flyout icons would nice cause

you can pack more command sets on one page. Even an option to reduce the icon size would make more room for more stuff. Do the icons really have to be that big!

I dont know about you guys ,but for me page flipping tool bars to hunt down icons are a drag. Forward /Reverse, ho hum. The first icon page is all i use along with hot keys.

How about being able to select geometry by it's radius/diameter value? This would be extremely useful, especially when doing hole paterns with many different hole sizes...

I tried that some time ago, but I went to select All Arcs, and it selected ALL the arcs, I thought it wasn't what I thought... I didn't continue on 1 step further to see that although all arcs were selected, it filtered them after hitting DONE.

If you do not even use the icons and want more viewing space, hit "alt + B" on the keyboard and see what happens. "alt + P" may be an option for you also.
