Thanks for the link ROB

I've done some research, and looking at the Fadal website brought me to notice that they had a wealth of manuals and such...i noticed specifically the quick references section there, where it had code references.

Good luck getting it, if you don't have internet exploere, the bane of Micro$oft Nazi-ism. Then you won't be able to look at their most up to date page AT ALL!!

www.fadal.com

I'm on mozilla now, so i can't directly link to the documentation page, however it is in the support section under Documentation, near the bottom of the page there is a section called 'quick references' i believe.

For those wishing to truly understand Gcode programming, sub programs, etc. etc., I believe you can't go wrong with Peter Smid's definitive book on the subject. I own almost every CNC programming book available and have yet to find one even close in terms of accuracy and completeness. Try http://www.industrialpress.com/

Regards

Peter Eigler

(p.s. the acknowledgement section in the book refers to the contributions of some guy named Peter Eigler....must be a handsome devil!)

I also promote Peter Smid’s book as the best one put out there; If this book has not already become a standard on Cnc manual part programming I’m sure that it will be shortly.

I was unaware that Peter Eigler had contributed to this book, I also own many books as well.

I have often thought about writing my own, but one look at Smid’s – I ain’t even going to try. smile.gif

Well done Peter & Peter. cheers.gif

Regards, Jack
