Drop Points and stretch Surface

This is someting that I never had to use before. But, It has come up now and I only remember doing it in class. That is stretch a surface around by dropping point on a surface. For the life of me. I can not remember were that was in the menus...By the way..I am still using 8.1.1 :-(

I think that you have to convert it to a nurbs surface first, then modify and use Cpts(Control points) to move it around. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Well, if you have to stretch the surface at a specific point and you dont have dimensions for it, I use create-->point-->dynamic. That should get your points down, but I cant help with the stretch.

Mastercam doesnt have control points on surfaces that you pull on to stretch a surface...that I know of anyway, if Im wrong please let me know because Id love to have this option!

 

 

If you say you did it in a MC class, you mght have projected or created dynamicly a point on the surface and then scaled it in x, y or z (or all 3) from that point?
