how to turn on air for haas from mastercam

i want to know if someone knows how to use air when programming for mastercam. i have been just going into the editor and doing it manually. is there a way to program it on and off per tool?

you would have to set it up in your post as a misc value or a coolant command. OR you could add manual op and hard code it in after tool depending on the results you are looking for. To help determine which option to choose, how are you using the air? to remove chips after running tool only? durring tool running? ect. more info is always helpfull. also post some sample code of how you get it now and what you want it to look like from MC.

i want to be able to run a roughing program with air, and then when that stops i want the air to turn off and be able to turn coolant on from mastercam. i usually have to do it in the toolpath editor manually putting in an m83 to turn it on and then an m84 to turn it off after the roughing tool. i have a lot of programs running unattended over the weekend and would like to use this as an option.

This really isn't a difficult post edit but it will depend on your abilities to edit a post. But check out the MPMaster and how they handle multiple coolant calls, pretty straight forward.
