FIRST I AM NEW TO FORUM BUT I USE MASTERCAM FROM 1994 MAY BE VERSION 4 TO VERSION 9.1

 

NORMALLY CHANGED THE LINEWIDTH TO 5 OR 6

THEN I USED TO PLOT MASTERCAM PART NO PROBLEM UPTO VER 9

IN VER 9.1 I DID SAME BUT THE LINEWIDTH DOES NOT CHANGE

THEN I CHECKED ON SCREEN CONFIGRATION AND IN CAD SETTING

IN HARDCOPY CHANGED THE LINEWIDTH TO 6 STILL THE LINE WIDTH DOES NOT CHANGE PLEASE SOME CAN HELP ME HOW PLOT THE PART

What O/S are you using? Are you using the Windows printer drivers? When was the last update to the printer drivers? Mastercam's Hardcopy function utilizes the Windows drivers or the drivers supplied from the printer company. Keeping these updated will often solve issues with making hardcopies from Mcam. Dont know if it helps, but for me, line width only works when shading is turned off for printing (from the Hardcopy menu Shaded....N.) If shading is on then the line width does not work for me. I havent updated my printer drivers in about 2 years, but doing so might help.

I WAS NOT HERE LAST 2 DAYS I AM USING WINDOWS XP

I GAVE UP THIS WAY AND USE ANOTHER WAY WORKS BETTER

THIS MAY BE USEFUL FOR SOMEONE

WHAT I DID

SAVE THE FILE

THEN SCREEN CHANGE ATTRIBUTES LINE WIDTH & Pick up 4th or 5th wider line size

CHANGE ALL ENTIES DONE

AND HARDHOPY WORKS FINE

AND DO NOT SAVE THE FILE
