X5 verify loses last stock

I can't seem to get verify to remember what the last stock used was- I am using a solid as stock, and have to pick the solid every time I verify. All the settings are the same as X4, which works fine. What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem, I just re-pick my stock EVERY TIME I open a file.

Have you set it up in the stock by Solid ten go in to verify options even after that and set it again. see this helps had that issue in the past.

I find the same thing.

 

The other day I was saving sequential STL's for my stock models in different NCI's in the same opp.

 

 

Verify kept changing ALL the NCI.s in the opp to the same STL.

 

However a solid chosen would remain the stock.

This has been happening to me since ver x2 i think, maybe even before that. Only thing you can do is bug it and hope it will get fixed at some point.

Hope they also fix the WCS problem that only allows verify to work in top view.

 

Or talk to The 3rd party software an have them FIX IT to represent CNC better.

Jay, selecting the same solid in stock setup, then again in verify works- but I have never done that in the past...maybe its a new thing in X5?

even when i use solid stock I still have to reselect EVERY TIME!

email from technical documentation dept says "use last size only works for box or cylinder" and they updated the help file. No enlightenment as why it changed (from X4), or instructions on how to get around it. Jay's tip to select the solid in "stock setup" on the ops man list is what worked for me....
