Unrolling toolpaths

I have run into a little problem... I have an axle with a increasing pitch... I have to make the job on an Integrex by milling...

 

My problem is that when I create it as a contour with axis substitution or with a C-axis toolpath with axis substitution, even that the geometry that I use has a growing pitch, it doesn't follow the geometry, but generate a toolpath with a constant pitch, like it's calculating how many turns the axle takes and then divide with the length and makes a constant distant between each rounds....

 

Is there any possibility to cheat it to work or can Axis substitution only work with constant pitch when it's unrolled....?

I would look to do this with curve 5 axis and using the base surface for my toolaxis control and the chain for your toolpath.

Would love to do it with 5axis... But I got a 5 axis licens and a lathe licens, but on 2 different hasp's.... .... So can't use 5 axis on the Integrex... Company won't pay to get them together...

Isn't it possible to make it just out from the geometry in some way... I thought it was just simple contour and told the customer that I could make it, but now I feel a bit worried....

Whose Integrex post are you using?

One from Cimco... It's not working really well, since it was made only for a specific job many years ago...

 

But it's not a problem with the post in this case... It's doing what Mastercam is processing...

I'm not certain about the Cimco post but the Integrex post from InHouse can be setup to run using a mill machine def.

That would allow you to use it on your mill3 multiaxis hasp.
