Verisurf error while posting

I am using the free Verisurf add on,

 

I have no idea why or how it is giving me an error posting a file.

 

It seems to be with just one path. If I create a new one just like it and delete

the one that errors, i still get the same error.

RUN TIME - PST(1770), NCI(6238) - The value of the string select selection variable is out of range: 20.00

I am not sure if the error means something is wrong on line N6238 or what the 20.00 means?

 

Here is a snippit from the program at that line area.

Does anyone know if I even need to worry about this error?

PST(1770), NCI(6238) - The value of the string select selection variable is out of range: 20.00

 

I have seen the verisurf tag in the top left of a few errors, verisurf has nothing to do with the error, dunno why it's name is there.

the 1770 is the line in the post that is coming up with an error, whatever string is in that line has calculated a number that won't jive (maybe because its value is over 20???)

the 6238 is the line in the nci file (not the "N" number of the code) that is giving the post the info it is using to calculate the problem variable.(best guess)

 

could you post up line 1770 from your post?

Even if I post only that path it says 1770?

Ive gone through every parameter and see nothing that has a 20.00 any where

Its gotta be something with the tool.

I created a new path and instead of core roughing I used the same geo with area clearance and

got the same error.

 

i will create a new tool and see it that fixes it

I will try deleting the 1/8 ball all together and save and restart and then create a new cutter and path.

Ok, Deleting the tool, rebooting and creating a new one solved the issue.

 

Tool must of corrupted somehow.

Sort of related but once when doing a mach. Simulation it alarmed out with a similar message

with verisurf as the messenger.

Was tempted to un-install but rebooted instead.

Went away.

 

Strange
