gnomon

[Santa Fe]

I come back to work and the IT guy installed X5 MU1 on my work station and I noticed that the gnomon is there at all times. Please look at the attached snap shot, it shows what I am talking about.

 

I looked under Settings>>configuration for a switch to turn it off and I couldn't find anything.

 

Does anybody knows how to turn it off? if so plese let me know how, it is very anoying.

 

Is it possible that it was set up like that at installation?

There should be an icon on your tool bar from varisurf, just click on it to turn off or on this gnomon.

He is correct someone updated either Verisurf or added our free tools. In the MBD toolbar you should see an icon for it.

 

Sorry you do not like it. I really enjoy the ABC along with the XYZ showing the relationship between the Axis and their Rotations.

Ron, it would be nice if the Axis display had an option to display the current Cplane (the same as what alt-F9 shows) not the system plane.

I am with Glenn this way we could use the MC one or the Versurf one as I like having the C/Tplanes showing to. but both togeather is a little much.

Are you talking when working with multiaxis this gnomon will tell me the the rotation?

Yes, it is.

I LOVE this feature cuz it helps me alot when i do program for 5 axis.
