CNC Rotary Indexers

Hi fellow Mastercam users,

I hope that someone can point me in the right direction. I am looking into making impellers out of solid 304SS and one machine will be used for roughing out the stock. I am looking for a low profile indexer that will index at 22.5 degrees and hold on to a part that has a outside diameter of 5.50" and a bore of 3.46" by 2" thick.

I want to be able to mill .236" wide grooves in the face of the part at 22.5 degree intervals using a 4" disc mill.

The application would be mounted to a tombstone with 8 indexers mounted to it (Cincinnati Maxim 500) or on a stand alone straddle mill.

If you think of anyone please have them contact me by phone or e-mail.

Thank You!

Sorry that there isn't much input, John.

We don't have a rotary here, but I'm looking into it.

I've been impressed by what I've seen from many manufacturers, particularly Tsudakoma [Koma Precision]

You may want to do a search on 'rotary' to find an earlier thread on this (started be me actually).

We have 2 Tsudakoma Rotary tables in here (model# RNCK-401)mounted on a Mits MH50e Horizontal. We have been using them for about 4 yrs. now without a single problem. We use them to cut 420SS, so they goe through some punishment...Highly recommended, not sure of pricing, but I'm sure they payed for themselves many times over... Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
