Cimco feed/speed calc accessing Mastercam ??

Hey Guys,

 

I've been using the Cimco feed n speed calculator for a couple of years now without issue. Yesterday i opened it to get feed n speed for a new tool and i got a message "please wait while windows configures Mastercam". So i let it go and it ultimately shut Mastercam down.

 

Can anyone explain what's going on with the Cimco Calculator or what has changed ?

It's like it's trying to install it'self into Mastercam. Is this right ? If so, why now and not 2 years ago ?

I have never seen that before. I have been using it for years. Where do you have it installed?

Same issue here. I delete Cimco Speed and Feed because of it.

I like the calculators You can download from Dapra. They have them for flat, torid and ball endmills and compensate for chip thining.
