Bounding Box

I have posted this some time ago and never got a real good answer, I am using MCX4 with MU3 and when I am creating a bounding box around my part and I have our solids licenes MCX creates the box almost as fast as I click the boxes, but if I do not have the solids licenses it sets for a while goes into not responding and will finally finish. why is this happening? the files are on my computer and not thru the network, how can I fix this so it works fast all the time?

No clue, but try unshading the solid before making the bounding box. I have no idea if it will make any difference, but give it a try. I never had a problem with that feature, but I'm always with a solid's license...

I had the same issue and ended up running mastercam launcher and disabled solids, created a shortcut and that took care of it here.

So i have two shortcuts one with solids enabled and one without.
