go ahead.

In machine tool definitions in tool spindel group change set the maximum spindel spead to anything you like (1 zillion rpm)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From MC help
Minimum/maximum spindle speeds
The spindle speeds are used to limit the spindle speed set in the Toolpath parameters tab for an operation.
It also has to do with switching a job from one machine to another. If a programmer is programming a part for a machine that has a 30K spindle and that machine is not available, however, another machine with a 15K spindle is available, when you change your machine definition so that you post out the correct code, the toolpaths that were programmed to an rpm that exceeds the capability of the machine you are now using will be flagged. You will have to update the speed and feed of the toolpaths that exceed the 15K limit.
Why not set the spindle speed of more than 50,000
What are you asking? Do you want to increase the maximum spindle speed amount to a higher value?
You can set the Minimum and Maximum value for the machine inside the Machine Definition Manager. Right-Click on your Tool Spindle component, and set your Minimum and Maximum allowable speed there. If you try to set a value that is lower or higher than those values in an Operation, Mastercam will display a warning and set your value to the Maximum allowed in your Machine Definition.
