Hi All,

is there a way to limit the accuracy of a 4th axis drilling output to so many decimal places?

If i have say 10 holes to drill so i use pi as 3.142 x dia all is fine but because pi has so many decimal places when it out puts the code

i get the first hole at say 36.002 then 72.02 ect insted of exacly 36 deg and 72 ect..

is there a way to over come this.. if i know that the out put should be exacly 36 and 72 how can i make this so

thanks

This is usually caused my a minor inacuraccy in the toolplanes used to define the angle.

I get this sometimes when using part geometry to define toolplane angle.

Best results are achived by using the Plane/Rotate command to rotate an exisiting system plane
