When you are using Verify there is a sliding bar that has "speed" at one end and "quality" at the other. Place the slider closer to "quality" for a smoother tool shape (using more lines).

 

Another option is to go into the Verify options page and reduce the value called "tool tolerance". The defaut value is 0.008 (metric). Be warned that this could slow Verify down significantly!

No sorry Mark, I'm just saying that the default value when using metric units is 0.008mm. I didn't know the inch value offhand, for when you are working in imperial. Interestingly I've just checked the imperial default and it is 0.008 as well. I would say that that is 0.008" when in imperial units. Same advice about reducing that value will apply.
