Verify is not showing stock

I cannot get the verify stock to be correct.

It keep loading a saved stl file from a month ago,so i deleted the old stl file.

I changed config/verify interface/initial size/"stock setup"

Now it loads a tombstone shape instaed of the cylinder in stock setup.

My workaround use to be this....

I open another mcx file and run verify ,then switch back, and the stock would be correct.

Now, it wont show a cylinder shape in the z axis ,no matter what i try.

ok it does save my settings in op defaults ,even though i hit the green checkmark and choose yes to save.

but...........

as soon as i run verify it switches back to the a axis settings

if i dont run verif it stays in z axis... :wallbash:

i wish i could record this somehow

Download Jing its a free screen recording software you can use to upload the a video of your screen to a url.

Try unchecking that

That would be why config setting changes don't stick

hmmm

I unchecked read only, hit apply.... verify didnt change.

So..i went back to change the read only setting and it was checked as read only.

I have admin rights but,it changed back to being checked "read only" for some reason.

I guess i need my it guy.

Sounds like something you may need to involve your reseller with.

I'd do a netview with one of our customers and see about fixing it.

But descriptions on the net are likely missing something somewhere else..

IT guy is wrong... if you can't write to your config file, you can't edit your settings

I can write to config.Even though its "read only"

Any way ,I got it to work.....

There are 3 places to set your verify settings.

One overwrites the other. This is shown in my video above.

Turns out, the "verify options" in verify, trumps them all.

IMO they should reduce the number of places to set verify stock to one.

My reseller agrees and sent it in to cnc.

Thanks to all.
