Open dialog boxes

How do you open file dialog box like previous style ( Mastercam style) with PREVIEW and DESCRIPTOR box ?

You have to click (not double click) on a file to see the preview & descriptor.

Yes but when I click File Open , the dialog box no longer look like the (attached thumbnail)

There is an option in the MAstercam applet that allows you to choose your file open dialog style. For X6 it is a little different due to the vista/Win 7 styles but the options are there.

Hi all, I have same problem with missing descriptor in open file dialog. I try Mastercam applet, there is already Mastercam style, but open dialog is still windows style. I use win7 and classic style. I have Mastercam X6 MU2. Thanks for help.

 

P.S: old Mastercam X5 worked fine on Win7

Not having the recent folders at the bottom really sucks.....

It's big problem for us, we need to check descriptor before opening file.

In Win7, if you switch your view to tiles, the descriptor will be on the right hand side of the file opem dialog window

I can see preview of the part but not the descriptor.

Same way is if I use tiles.

If there is nothing in the descriptor, nothing will show beneath the screen cap
