Change tool description in manager and no update

Hi All,

I know tool numbering has been done to death recently, but can't remember the deal with renaming?

I changed the description on a tool, via OP manager > parameters > and edited the words.

Saved out and the description visible in the operation changed.

On the next op that used the same tool, the description was the old description. So I looked at it via OP manager > paramters > and the description was correct.

How do I ensure the visible description is now the same for all ops, as I have some descriptions in the ops manager which are 'old', and the one that is 'new'???

Also, when posting, the 'old' description outputs. I'm asuming this is becuase the ist call that the tool is used, has the 'old' description visible?

TIA

Cheers

Thanks G,

I just went through 14 ops one at a time and done this. Select tool, blue cross, green tick and out.

Some dirtied, some didn't and I think it seems speed related. If I hit the blue cross and wait, then hit the green tick, it seemed ok.

If I hit the blue cross and then the green tick straight after, some dirtied where other's didn't.

So whether or not other problems I've read on here are related to this, I don't know. If it was a machine, i'd say we had a 'blue cross timer issue'...

cheers
