You Cannot close the Application while a task is active

Please does anyone know what is going on with this?? This has not happened to us since we have installed X6 and we started out with V3. All computer does this and you cant exit mastercam without Ctrl-Alt-Del.

need a bit more information,....

What utility are you trying to run?

Do you have an active selection window open and trying to launch another utility?

Did you slide the utility window out of the way and it's now stuck behind the taskbar? (it did that to me this morning)

I'm not sure what triggers it. I know its

Operation Manager-Posting selected operations (G1 Button)

That is not running when I try to exit.

Somewhere it gets stuck.

If you have "edit" checked on your posting options.. and your editor hangs up trying to open

 

when you post, this can happen.. sometimes opening the editor manually ... or closing it with the task manger

 

can free up Mastercam

gcode you are the best! You led me to the answer.

We have Haas's that are hooked up to the network.

When we try and post with the same NC file name as an

active program that is in the controller you get the

error and then you wont be able to close mastercam.

the same thing can happen if you have an active Vericut session and try to post to the file name you're running in Vericut.

 

Vericut has filename locked down as read only.. Mastercam can't post and everything grinds to a stop
