Wrapping the Engrave Toolpath

Hi friends,

 

I just wonder if anyone try the “wrapping” feature of the Engraving operation onto a surface. I did following the help but can not get it work.

I have not tried it, but have engraved on cone shaped surfaces...

Are you trying do an axis substitution or simultaneous 4axis?

 

Has the toolpath geom already been "wrapped" or is it still flat?

 

Is the dia a constant or are you trying wrap the geom on a compound curved surface?

I'm bored.. and test the "wrapping" feature of engraving toolpath to see how it works. *Wrapping an engraving toolpath on a surface (mastercam help file).

*I dont have any problem with project or wrap geometry on cylinder or curve surface, just want try something new.

I did tried on x5 and it crashed, i trying on x6 and gave me an error: "error_to_few_pts_from_lin (error code: 16021)"
