List of Operations using a specific tool number... How to generate?

So, how to obtain a list of operations given a specific tool number...

i.e. Does MasterCam have a method to do this? If not, might

someone suggest a method to achieve a list of operations for a single specific tool?

Best you can do is perhaps right click on the operations manager and sort by tool #. That will get you pretty close to what you want.

Try using the "Select" function in the Operations Manager. Start by selecting all your operations. Then Right-Click on one of the selected ops, and choose "Select" from the right-click menu. The Select function has 'filters' that allow you to select operations that meet certain criteria. In this case, you can use the tool number filter to select only those operations.

 

Once you have 'filtered' the operations and pressed the "ok" green check button, the operations in the ops manager that met the filter criteria will be selected (green check) and the rest of the operations will be de-selected. This means you can run Active Reports or another setup sheet program on just those operations. In this case, it will be only operations that share the same tool number.

I believe the default active reports setup sheet will list out all the operations that a tool is used in.
