Nine9 cutting tools

Has anybody ever used these Nine9 cutting tools? http://everede.net/nine9_2012_pageflip_catalog.html

 

I was looking at the index able engraving tool.

Wow I had no idea Everede was bought out. We use a couple of the 60 degree insert mills from Everede and we use Mitsubishi inserts in the cutters. I've never had any issues with them.

I've used some of their tools for years. They work great and last a long time.

I have used their engraving tool to mark stainless steels. They perform way better and faster than solid carbide.

We have switched our spot drills to them because they are cheaper than solid carbide and have a smaller tip flat. Also the holder will hold 1-3mm corner rounding inserts which is a plus. We recently bought a larger tool holder to hold 4 5 and 6mm radius inserts. I love the tools.

these tools are great!i recently found these and use them all the time.the engraving ones work excellent and are very strong for engraving stainless and hard metals and they have 4 sides.i also use the 60 deg one to do deep engraving v carve work.they even have ones with indexable tips for centerdrilling although i have not used these.

I really like the fact that the $ on an insert is less than a spot drill! and you can move right along with these. The radius inserts are wonderful too, We started using these over Harvey corner rounding tools and I am impressed.
