Is anyone else experiencing slow opening when right clicking in the operations manager to edit common parameters, renumber tools etc ?

Now that you say it, yes, but only an extra second or so....... nothing major.

yes! extremely slow. I actually posted a similar question a few months back. It becomes very time consuming when renaming nc files.

not here, seem the same as X6

Mine is exactly the same speed as X6... Do you still have X6 installed to try it back to back? That's what I just did.

 

Is there any speed difference if there's one toolpath vs. 100? Did it just happen after an update, etc?

Definitely slower in X7 for me, not a huge amount, but noticeable

Its opens as fast as, if not faster, than X6 for me

My right click menu in the operations manager has about a 5 to 15 second delay. All other right click menus in Mcam x5 x6 x7 (or any other software I use) open instantaneously.

Been trying to sort out another issue we are having with "opti" toolpaths and "computation errors" with CNC software and they suggested changing our graphics card settings to force mastercam to always use the dedicated graphics card to try and fix the error, it didn't :-(

 

But my right click is now alot faster :-)
