Nethasp not found when on wireless network

I had my work laptop re-imaged and Mastercam install. The nethasp license cannot be found when connected to our wireless network. However, the license is found and read when plugged into via a physical lan.

Help!

I have Mastercam class next week and I would like to access our setup via vpn.

Well wireless and VPN are two different thoughts Kathy. as VPN wont care if you are on wireless or pluged in to RJ45 at another location.

You need to login to your VPN so it see's you on the company network and try to see the key.

I know you can do it thru VPN I did it years ago for Disney out here.

you will need to add the IP address of the nethasp server to the nethasp ini file

 

C:\Program Files\mcamx7\nethasp.ini

That was the other thought I forgot Gcode. I know on the wireless you don;t have to but over the VPN forcing to the right server for sure helps.

I don't have my VPN setup here to test with the net hasp.

I have a VPN from home into my employer's license server

It won't work for me without setting the IP addy in nethasp.ini

i have the same problem.  

when my laptop is connected with wire, work good, but when i disconnect the wire and work with the wireless, the SIM not IS found. 

 

i set the file "boot.ini" but not work. change the ip and more settings but not work

 

who can help me. thanks

Are you using a VPN? Connected with a wire where at work or home?

can your wireless network see the nethasp server

many IT departments set wireless networks up as guest networks that can't access

the rest of the companies networks.. if that is the case, you will need to give your laptop access

to the networks so that it can see the nethasp server
