lost a setting

Hello forum,

I need help,

when I used to core out a solid I used to be able to see it all the way thru my solid.

Now when i core it out I can't.....any ideas?

Are you talking about shading? If so try ALT+S on the keyboard. If you are talking about in verify, set your stock to transparent, this can be done in the verify by changing the stock check box to the translucent option (second option).

Thanks....no not shading.

And Verify (not sure where to find this) i'm not cutting yet - still drawing.

i'll try and explain,

 

Ussually you can see the dowel pin hole or bolt hole all the way thru my solid.

For some reason I can't see that happening.

I can't see my hidden lines.

I know its functioning correctly because I can turn my block upside down and see its cored all the way thru.

I can't see my hidden lines.

 

That's a function of the wire frame toggle in McamX7, you can have it hide the "hidden lines", dim the "hidden lines" or show the "hidden lines"

 

The hot keys in the screen shot are my own custom settings.

Cjep .... that was it. Amazing all these years and that never gave me problems before. seems to switch back and forth by itself - but at least i know where its at to change it to where i want it.
