Toolpath for roughing out a radius

Hertz well being able to work with models and understand how to work with surfaces is more and more a lost art with people. I could have done it with the solid by using trim to plane from front, but with surfaces I leave the solid alone. I am just glad to share with others and help as best I can.

Thanks for the sample files - I just looked at them.

I'd never have thought of peel milling to rough the rad 'lengthways' and I'd never ever have thought of projecting the peelmill toolpath to rough the rad.

I tried to do a projected peel mill example file for you in x6 but I couldn't get the file size small enough to post here.
